The UltraScan® PRO measures reflected and transmitted color and meets CIE and ASTM guidelines. It scans from 350 nm to 1050 nm with 5 nm optical resolution. The source is controlled in the ultraviolet region for the accurate measurement of whitening agents. In addition to color and spectral data, metrics like APHA, Saybolt, Gardner, ASTM D 1500, yellowness, whiteness and haze can be measured. For transmission measurement, the instrument's sphere geometry virtually eliminates errors introduced by sample haze.
