Plastic Industry

HunterLab systems measure the reflected and transmitted color, whiteness, yellowness and haze of plastic products. They give numerical values that correlate to what you see and are ideal for measuring raw materials through finished product. Samples measured include resins, solvents, color concentrates, pellets, plaques, films, molded, extruded and blown products, as well as preforms. Portable, bench and on-line systems are available.

ColorQuest HazeThe ColorQuest Haze is an on-line spectrophotometer that continuously measures the transmitted color of plastic film and sheet that is clear or hazy. Color, yellowness and transmission haze can be measured. The system consists of a sensor module and a control/display module with a built-in touch screen display. All widely used color scales and illuminants programmed into the system. Data can be output to a LIMS, network or in analog form for alarms and control systems.
