HunterLab systems measure reflected and transmitted color and are used in the textile industry for quality control, process control and shade sorting. They give numerical values that correlate to what you see. You can measure a wide range of products including dyes, staple, fiber, yarn, rope and fabric. Portable, bench and on-line systems are available.

The LabScan XE spectrophotometer measures the reflected color of textile samples. It features 0/45-degree optical geometry that "sees" color the way the eye sees color and is ideal for quality control and shade sorting. A large illumination diameter of 44 mm reduces the need to average and a variable illumination option can zoom as small as 3 mm. Ultraviolet control is available for the measurement of optical brighteners. LabScan XE includes EasyMatch QC software.
