To receive the ISO 9001:2000 certificate, HunterLab was audited by a certifying agency and demonstrated that it met a series of detailed requirements. In general these requirements included the company proving that it has established and documented a quality system, has management support of quality, meets customer requirements, established a quality policy, carries out quality planning, controls the quality system and performs management reviews. In addition quality resources, personnel, infrastructure and environment were shown to have been provided. Ongoing audits and continuous improvement are required to maintain certification.
