If the ColorQuest will not communicate with the DP-9000, consider the following:
Verify that the DP-9000 is turned on.
Verify that the lamp is lit. If it is not, change it as instructed here.
Check the cable connections. Ensure that all hardware is secure. Check for recessed pins in the connectors.
If communication cannot be established after following these instructions, instrument service may be required.
