If the three lights on the terminal (Cal, Setup, and Diag) blink continuously, consider the following:
Track Color is ON and the measured color is outside the preset range. Present product that is in-spec or adjust the color range in the product setup.
The product is located beyond the preset cut-off distance and the hold time has elapsed. Extend the cut-off distance in the product setup.
The product height may be out of range.
If the sensor has not been standardized since the last firmware update, standardize it.
If the light next to the F2/Cal button blinks, standardization failed, perhaps because the automatic calibrator tile could not move in or out of the light beam and needs repair or the automatic calibrator is missing or dirty and needs to be replaced or cleaned.
If your run stops and the analog output card "freezes," the terminal was probably disconnected from the system after the run was started. Leave the terminal in place while the run is in progress.
If an underscore is shown on the display, the terminal was plugged into the support unit after its power was turned on. Reset the support unit or cycle its power.
If the problem is still experienced after following these instructions, instrument service may be required.
