If the LabScan XE lamp does not flash or flashes erratically, perform the power on self test for the lamp to see if it is operating properly.
The lamp is unlikely to need replacement over the normal expected instrument life. However, should the lamp fail, replacement requires a trained technician. Instructions for obtaining such service can be found here.
