The D25 DP-9000 can be operated under temperature conditions of 50°F to 122°F (14°C to 50°C). The system may be operated in conditions of up to 85% relative, non-condensing humidity.
Fluctuating temperatures may produce unstable readings, as the silicon detector is sensitive to rapid temperature changes. If the humidity is consistently above 80% for an extended period, long-term performance may be affected by oxidation (rusting) of electrical contacts. At humidities below 20%, static electricity may build up, so care should be taken that users are well grounded before using the instrument, or the instrument should be placed on a static mat.
