Most HunterLab customers include this Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program in their portfolio package. PM is a non-emergency maintenance visit scheduled in advance for the month(s) that we are in your state (United States only). One scheduled visit per year is made to your site with only a few hours of instrument downtime necessary. The PM program offers the opportunity for budgeting annual maintenance while ensuring optimal system performance levels year after year.

During the Preventive Maintenance visit, the HunterLab Service Technician will:

  • Inspect and test the instrument(s)
  • Check and adjust mechanical and electro-mechanical components
  • Clean and check optical elements
  • Conduct final check and report results to the instrument operator
 

Customer Instrument Preparation:

  • Connect and turn on Instrument(s) to be serviced at least 24 hours before time of visit.
  • Provide ample workspace and an AC outlet for test equipment.
  • Have all instruments listed on the Agreement located at the same address.

We will make every effort to honor this schedule but cannot be responsible for unforseeable scheduling delays.

HunterLab provides a 30-day warranty for any parts replaced during the Preventive Maintenance service except for lamps and fuses. After the 30-day warranty period, any additional work required will not be covered by this Preventive Maintenance Agreement. HunterLab negotiates new agreements annually.

Warranty Information:

The warranty contained herein is the only warranty applicable to instruments and services sold by HunterLab pursuant to this agreement. All other warranties expressed or implied including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are specifically disclaimed. Under no circumstances shall HunterLab be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages.
